Goose calls

My recent dabblings in the arena of goose call making.  All are short reed calls, and I use a variety of different gut and reed combinations.  All of my calls have a “gutsert” made from either aluminum or plastic, which makes a solid connection between the barrel and the insert, and prevents the insert from being split by the guts.

I’m not much of a goose caller, so I’m somewhat handicapped as a goose call maker by that fact, and am certainly not very good at demonstrating them.  Friends that are goose hunters have been very pleased after running my calls however.  I generally don’t sell goose calls unless someone is local and can run a few of my calls to see what they like.
